On this day 53 years ago, my Mother gave birth to her son at Bear Wood nursing home, just off Bear's Cross, midway between Wimborne and Bournemouth.
Today, Toyah & I have had a celebration breakfast of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon in the Saloon, opening cards from close family & friends.
